Introducing the featured wines for the month of January from the Marche region of Italy. Coined “The New Tuscany,” the Marche Wine Region is one of Italy’s last untouched wine regions and a must for gourmet travelers¹. Stop by the store to see these new arrivals and to purchase a bottle!

Lucchetti Spumante Rose

Bright and vibrant with aromatic white peach, strawberry and floral notes. Full-rich mouthfeel that is classic to Lacrima and with a crispy, clean, dry finish. The fine structure of the foam carries the aromatics and perfumed Lacrima style through a floral finish².

Tenuta del Cavaliere Verdicchio D.O.C.

Full-bodied and lush, this is not a sweet wine. It is off-dry, taking advantage of an extra month on the vine to develop greater body, structure, and fruit essence. It is deftly made, with lush pear, melon, and a touch of honey complexion that retains beautiful acidity³.

Lucchetti Lacrima Di Morro D’Alba

The wine explodes out of the glass with an extremely intense and heady bouquet of exotic Eastern flowers and wild strawberries and pomegranate. Once past the intriguing nose, the palate features wild berry compote, hints of roses, violets and geranium, a note of pink peppercorn and finishes very fresh and limited tannins².

Villa Bonomi Rosso Conero Riserva I.G.T.

This sleek, muscular wine is aged 18 months in French oak, and like all of Marchetti’s wines, consists of only free run juice! With enticing notes of exotic spice, vanilla, dried cranberry, and dark chocolate, this is one not to be missed. Pair this wine with grilled ribeye, lamb, and cave-aged cheeses³.

Lucchetti Visciola Cherry Wine NV

Slightly sweet, slightly sour and absolutely delicious. Lucchetti’s Visciola is made from 100% cherries grown on the estate’s farm. A treat to enjoy on its own or as a unique addition to any cocktail list².
